I agree with you that both aircraft are beautiful and they are also technology leaders. I hope that the Dreamliner will be OK. Finally, I still prefer Airbus company, but I like Boeing too also other companies (Canadair, Fokker, Embraer, ...).

Hi Niki,
I know some airliners have, but quite a lot also choose the A330 because the size is simular. The 787 is a little bigger than te 767.
The standard configuration for the 787-8 is around 220 seats, and for the A350-800 it wil be around 270 seats (A350-900 = 315 seats).
I have no doubt that some airliners have changed from 787 to A350 :-). I had a tour at Airbus a few days ago and they told us that te first versions of the A350 where designed to compete with the 772. But I believe you that some airliners switched from 787 to A350.
My personal opinion is that they are both very beautiful planes and will do there future jobs very good.

Hi, Martijn. The Airbus A350 should be a direct competitor to the B787 and B787 is bigger than B767 which it replace. Greatness of B787 is approaching to B777. Some airliners really change orders from B787 to A350.

The 787 is designed to replace planes like the 767, thats why some airliners choose the A330 due to delays of the 787. The A350 is more in the league of the 777.
The 787 (and A350) will prove themselfs when they are in service and some airliners will regret there decision to go for the A330 in stead of the 787.

Niki, Boeing had (and has) it problems. But don't forget it's an all new plane with new materials and technology. When they start to fly for airliners they will eventually change aviaton. Together with the A350.
Also don't forget that the A380 had is start-up problems before it was in service.

No hej, stroj je to perfektny a premysleny, ma byt vykonny a usporny, tichy, komfortny atd., atd,... ale slubovali ho uz tak davno a doteraz jeho dodavky zakaznikom furt oddialuju, ze mnoho zaujemcov uz odstupilo od objednavok a radsej objednali lietadla u Airbusu. Ze si to vobec mohli dovolit take meskanie, vsak sa jedna o astronomicke sumy, ktore Boeing vlozil do tohto projektu a navratnost investicii ma v rukach kto? Zakaznici. A oni nic doteraz nedostali a tak postupne odstupuju a vyzera to tak, ze Boeing na tom riadne perobi. Uz teraz sa vyvoj brutalne predrazil a az to nakoniec predsa daju do predaja, bude uz pravdepodobne neskoro. Vela firiem, ktore odstupili od zmluv, objednali Airbus A350, ktory je planovany tusim na rok 2013 alebo 2014. Ak to Airbus neposerie ako Boeing, pekne na tom zarobi.

Ako sa to vezme, urcite je to prevratny stroj a po dokonceni to bude pecka. Velke diela chcu cas - ako v Airbuse, tak aj v Boeingu:)
